How to clear Windows Update Download Cache in Windows 7

If you have problems where windows 7 “hang” or “freeze” when it`s installing updates this fix will help you.

1. Go to “C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download”

2. Select all files and folders, and delete them
3. When prompted to confirm, click yes.
4. Restart your computer to complete the process.
